This policy explains what personal information Air Conditioning London collects when you use this website or email us, what we do with it, and your rights. It's short because we collect very little.
Who we are
Air Conditioning London is the trading name of a sole trader based in the UK, who is the controller of the personal information described here. You can contact us about anything in this policy at info@airconditioninglondon.uk.
What we collect
- Details you send us by email: your name, email address, phone number, postcode, any photos, and what you tell us about your home and the work you'd like.
- Technical data your browser sends automatically, such as your IP address, when pages load.
- Anonymous visit counts from Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies or identify you.
- We don't use analytics or advertising cookies.
How we use it
We use the details you send to reply to you and to put you in touch with a local installer who can survey your home and quote. Our lawful basis is taking the steps you've asked for before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries. We don't use your details for marketing and we don't send newsletters.
Who we share it with
- One local installer. To arrange your survey and quote, we pass your request to one F-Gas certified installer who covers your postcode. They then handle your details under their own privacy policy. We won't pass your request on if you ask us not to.
- Service providers that run this website and our email, who process data only on our instructions.
- We don't share your details with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to 12 months after our last contact with you, then delete them. If you ask us to delete your details sooner, we will.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the information we hold about you
- correct information that's wrong
- delete your information
- restrict or object to how we use it
- send your information to you or someone else in a portable format

Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
